Dr. Yasir completed his MBBS from Al Ameen Medical College, University of Karnatak, India. Additionally, he completed his MD in Psychiatry from the Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS), a Centre of Excellence under Government Medical College, Srinagar, India. He served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the prestigious Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC), Chennai. Later, he was a Consultant Psychiatrist at IMHANS, Kashmir, where he was actively involved in clinical practice and postgraduate training.
In the UAE, Dr. Yasir has held key positions. These include Head of Department and Adjunct Clinical Tutor of Psychiatry at Thumbay Hospital Dubai. Most recently, he has served as a Specialist Psychiatrist at NMC Healthcare, Sharjah (2021–2024).
