Dr. Firas Dib is a DHA-licensed French-trained Ophthalmology specialist in Dubai with expertise in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma management, corneal treatments, and oculoplastic surgery. His diagnostic expertise includes OCT, corneal topography, visual field testing, fluorescein angiography, and ocular ultrasound. His surgical experience includes cataract surgery using phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation. Additionally, he performs corneal procedures including cross-linking, keratoplasty, and intracorneal ring implantation.
Dr. Firas completed his MD in Medicine at the University of Damascus, Syria. He then completed residency training in Ophthalmology at CHU Reims, France. He further advanced his expertise with a University Diploma in Contact Lens Adaptation from the University of Bordeaux 2. Moreover, he earned a University Diploma in Glaucoma from the University of Angers, France.
