Dr. Annabelle Tayamora Dytan is a DHA-licensed Specialist Rheumatologist with over 23 years of clinical experience. She specialises in diagnosing and managing Rheumatic, Autoimmune, Inflammatory, and Bone conditions that affect the joints, muscles, and other parts of the body.
Her clinical expertise includes Rheumatoid arthritis, Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Gout, Vasculitis, and Osteoporosis. She has extensive experience managing complex Rheumatological conditions and using advanced treatments, including biologic therapies and targeted medications, where appropriate. Dr. Dytan also performs joint aspirations, joint injections, and soft tissue injections to help manage selected joint and musculoskeletal conditions. Her experience includes corticosteroid injections, hyaluronic acid injections, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for appropriate cases.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Dytan has held senior medical and leadership positions, including Head of the Rheumatology Section at Cardinal Santos Medical Center in the Philippines. Dr. Dytan completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, followed by Internal Medicine residency training at Cardinal Santos Medical Center. She then completed a Post-Residency Fellowship in Rheumatology at Philippine General Hospital, University of the Philippines Manila. She is a Diplomate in Rheumatology of the Philippine Rheumatology Association and a Diplomate in Internal Medicine of the Philippine College of Physicians.
