Dr. Baher Ashour (MBBCh, MD, MSc Otorhinolaryngology, MSc Audiology, FEBORL) is a European Board Certified Consultant Otolaryngologist with over 25 years of experience in ENT care. He has extensive experience diagnosing and treating ear, nose, and throat conditions in adults and children. His clinical interests include hearing and balance disorders, tinnitus, Eustachian tube dysfunction, and endoscopic ear surgery.
Dr. Ashour completed his MBBCh and specialist training in Otolaryngology before earning a Master’s degree in Audiology for ENT Practice from University College London, UK, where he graduated with distinction as a Chevening Scholar. He also holds an MSc in Otolaryngology, MD in Otorhinolaryngology, and Fellowship of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL). He has presented at international conferences and demonstrated ear surgery techniques at workshops in the UAE, Germany, and Egypt.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ashour has held senior clinical and academic positions. He was previously Head of the ENT Department and Acting Head of Surgical Services at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital in the UAE. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at Cairo University Faculty of Medicine, contributing to medical education, research, and professional training.
His expertise includes hearing loss, dizziness, Eustachian tube dysfunction, ear infections, nasal allergies and sinus conditions. He also has extensive experience in endoscopic ear surgery and nasal procedures, including septoplasty and turbinate reduction. Dr. Ashour combines advanced ENT expertise with a focus on otology, neurotology, and surgical innovation, providing quality care for adults and children.
