Dr. Simi Kiruthiga Senthil Kumar has 20 years of working experience in the field of Paediatrics. She has worked at leading hospitals over the last 8 years in the UAE, prior to joining HealthHub Clinics. During her initial years, she received training at Christian Medical College, the top ranked medical college hospital in India, and later at Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre as Consultant and Head of the Department of Paediatrics.
After completing her Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) from Bangalore University, she pursued DCH (Diploma in Child Health) from Christian Medical College, MGR University and DNB Paediatrics from the Diplomate National Board in SRH, India. Dr. Simi has also completed her PGDDN (Post Graduate Diploma in Developmental Neurology), Basic Life Support (BLS), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Dr. Simi has participated and presented papers at noted paediatric conferences, and has been involved in various research activities from studies about oral rehydration solution, and nephrotic syndrome,to breastfeeding and language delay in children. She is a life member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP).
