Mr Rakesh Jayakrishnan is a Senior Physiotherapist in Dubai with over 12 years of experience. He specializes in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injury recovery, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He graduated from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, and was a University Rank Holder in physiotherapy. Rakesh holds a PG Diploma in Yoga Therapy and a Master’s in Hospital Administration. Additionally, he completed his special training in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
With experience working in public, private, and corporate healthcare environments, Rakesh has developed extensive expertise in sports physiotherapy. He has successfully treated a wide range of complex cases, with a special focus on spinal pain, dislocated joints, rotator cuff injuries, and tendinopathies.
Rakesh is highly skilled in manual therapy, muscle taping (kinesiology taping), and electrotherapy techniques like Ultrasound Therapy. He also uses Shock Wave Therapy and Cryotherapy. His expertise extends to managing both acute and chronic musculoskeletal rehabilitation conditions, including neck pain, lower back pain, and sports-related injuries.
