Dr. Simi Kiruthiga Senthil Kumar, Specialist Paediatrician has nearly 20 years of working experience in the field of Pediatrics. She has worked at leading hospitals over the last 8 years in the UAE. This was prior to joining Health Hub Clinics. During her initial years, she received her training and work experience from Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore. This is the top ranked medical college hospital in India. Later, she worked at SNHRC as Consultant and Head of the Department of Pediatrics.
In addition to her Pediatric Training, she has also completed her PGDDN (Post Graduate Diploma in Developmental Neurology) from the Child Development Centre (CDC), Trivandrum Medical college in Kerala. Moreover, she has also received training in Early Nutrition for infants and children from the Ludwig Maxmilan University of Munich, Germany.
Dr. Simi, Specialist Paediatrician has been involved in various research activities in studies about oral rehydration solution, nephrotic syndrome, breastfeeding and language delay in children. She has participated and presented papers at noted pediatric conferences. Furthermore, she is also a life member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). She is also a life member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).
