He has over 14 years of clinical and surgical experience in General Surgery, Urology, Andrology, and Men’s Health. He currently practices at HealthHub Urology Clinic, Al-Futtaim Health, Dubai. There, he provides comprehensive urological and andrological care using the latest evidence based and minimally invasive treatment approaches.
Dr. Karthikesh completed his MBBS, DNB in General Surgery, and MCh in Urology in India. He also obtained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh, UK. Dr. Karthikesh is a member of several professional organizations, including the Arab Association of Urology, Urological Society of India, International Society for Sexual Medicine, European Society for Sexual Medicine, and the International Association of Sexual Medicine Practitioners. Furthermore, he has contributed to peer reviewed scientific publications and presented award winning research at national and regional urology conferences.
With extensive expertise in endourology and minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Karthikesh has successfully performed more than 1,500 laser stone procedures. These include Ureteroscopic Laser Lithotripsy (URSL), Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS), and Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL). He specializes in the treatment of kidney and ureteric stones, enlarged prostate Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction, and other mens’ health conditions. Additionally, he is highly skilled in Bipolar TURP for enlarged prostate management. He is also skilled in Microscopic Varicocele Ligation, a gold standard procedure for male infertility and varicocele treatment.
