Dr. Hassan Alrifai is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with over a decade of experience in orthopedics. He currently serves as the Director of the Orthopedic Training Program at Dubai Health Authority (DHA), where he mentors future orthopedic specialists. Dr. Alrifai earned his medical degree with honors from Misr University for Science and Technology in Egypt. Following this, he completed advanced orthopedic training at the Ministry of Health in Syria, graduating first in his class in 2010.
He expanded his expertise through specialized training in joint reconstruction and sports medicine at St. Anna Hospital in Herne, Germany. Subsequently, he was awarded a prestigious scholarship for lower limb reconstruction at the University of Toronto, Canada. His extensive experience at King Abdul Aziz Medical City in Riyadh has further strengthened his skills in joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, and complex trauma management. Currently being an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Sharjah and holding a FIFA Diploma in Sports Medicine places him at the forefront of musculoskeletal and injury care.
Dr. Alrifai is proficient in managing complex trauma cases. His specialties include shoulder arthroscopy and knee ligament reconstructions. He performs joint replacement surgeries for the knee, hip, and shoulder, and treats various conditions affecting the foot and hand.
