Undergoing an FUE hair transplant with our team is a straightforward process. Here’s what you can expect:
Consultation: We begin with a one-on-one consultation. Our hair transplant surgeon will assess your scalp, discuss your hair loss history and goals, and confirm if you’re a good candidate for FUE. We then design a personalized plan, including your new hairline design and an estimate of how many grafts you’ll need.
Procedure Day: On the day of your transplant, local anesthesia is applied to ensure your scalp is completely numb and you remain comfortable. Our surgeon uses a tiny punch device to carefully extract individual hair follicles from the donor area (typically the back of your head) one by one. After harvesting enough grafts, we create tiny incisions in the thinning or bald areas of your scalp and implant the follicles into these sites with precision. Each graft is placed at the ideal angle and density to mimic natural hair growth. The procedure can take several hours depending on the number of grafts, but you’ll be able to go home the same day when it’s finished.
Recovery: Recovery after an FUE transplant is generally quick, with slight swelling or soreness that fades within a few days. We’ll provide scalp care instructions, and tiny scabs around the transplanted follicles will shed within 7-10 days. Most patients resume desk work and light activities within 2-3 days, avoiding heavy exercise for a week.
Results Timeline: The transplanted hairs may shed in the first month or two, which is normal. New growth starts around 3-4 months, with significant volume increase by 6 months. Full results are visible by 9-12 months, with permanent, naturally growing hair.
Follow up: Our care continues long after surgery with follow-up appointments to monitor progress. We’re here to support you throughout your hair restoration journey.
