Aesthetic Gynaecology

Advanced aesthetic and functional care from an experienced OBGYN team- delivered with discretion, safety, and genuine understanding

Feeling comfortable in your body is deeply personal. For many women, concerns about intimate appearance, laxity, discomfort, scarring after childbirth, or pain with penetration can affect confidence, daily comfort, relationships, and overall wellbeing. Cosmetic gynaecology offers modern, medically guided options that can address both aesthetic goals and functional symptoms- always with your privacy, safety, and individual needs at the center.

At our OBGYN department, cosmetic gynaecology is approached as healthcare, not “vanity.” Every treatment begins with a respectful consultation, medical assessment, and an honest discussion of what’s possible—so you can make a choice that feels right for you.

What is cosmetic gynaecology?

Cosmetic gynaecology includes surgical and non-surgical procedures designed to improve the appearance, comfort, and sometimes function of the vulvovaginal and perineal area. Some treatments focus on tissue reshaping or reconstruction (such as labiaplasty or perineoplasty), while others support tissue quality, lubrication, sensitivity, or muscle relaxation (such as PRP, O-Shot, fillers, or Botox for vaginismus).

Our goal is never to promote a “standard look.” It’s to help you feel more comfortable and confident—based on your personal concerns, anatomy, and health history.

Who may benefit?

Cosmetic gynaecology may be suitable if you experience:

  • Discomfort from enlarged or asymmetrical labia (chafing, irritation, pain with exercise or clothing)

  • Vaginal laxity or reduced sensation after childbirth or with ageing

  • Painful penetration linked to muscle spasm (vaginismus)

  • Perineal scarring or a feeling of “tightness/pulling” after delivery

  • Changes in intimate appearance after childbirth, weight change, or hormonal shifts

  • Interest in vaginal lightening for cosmetic reasons (when clinically appropriate)

  • Desire to improve lubrication or tissue quality (especially with dryness)

If you are pregnant, have certain infections, uncontrolled medical conditions, or unrealistic expectations, we may recommend postponing or avoiding a procedure. A thorough assessment ensures your plan is safe and appropriate.

Treatments we offer

Botox for vaginismus

Vaginismus involves involuntary pelvic floor muscle tightening that can make penetration painful or impossible. When clinically appropriate, Botox injections may help relax targeted muscles, reduce spasm, and support progress with pelvic floor therapy and guided care.

Surgical cosmetic gynaecology procedures

Our surgical options are carefully selected, evidence-informed, and performed with a focus on anatomy, function, and natural-looking results.
Labiaplasty
Reshapes or reduces the labia minora (and sometimes labia majora) to relieve discomfort and improve symmetry. Many patients seek labiaplasty due to rubbing, irritation, or self-consciousness. Vaginoplasty A surgical tightening procedure that addresses vaginal laxity by supporting deeper tissue layers. It may be considered after childbirth or significant tissue stretching.
Vaginal rejuvenation (surgical) An umbrella term that may include vaginoplasty and/or perineoplasty, depending on your needs—aimed at comfort, support, and structural refinement. Hymenoplasty A reconstructive procedure performed for personal reasons. We approach this with sensitivity, confidentiality, and thorough informed consent, ensuring you understand what the procedure can and cannot guarantee.
Clitoral hood reduction Refines excess tissue of the clitoral hood when it causes discomfort or cosmetic concerns, while prioritising nerve safety and natural anatomy.
Perineoplasty Addresses perineal scarring, looseness, or discomfort after childbirth by repairing and strengthening the perineal area. It may improve comfort during intimacy and support.

Chemical peeling for perineum lightening

For selected patients, gentle, medically supervised chemical peeling can help improve the appearance of external skin discolouration (intimate area lightening). This is performed with appropriate products designed for sensitive areas.

G-spot augmentation (tightening and improved lubrication)

G-spot augmentation is a minimally invasive procedure that may involve targeted injection to enhance tissue fullness and support improved friction, tightening sensation, or lubrication in some patients.

O-Shot (PRP-based therapy)

The O-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood, processed and injected into specific areas to support tissue regeneration.

PRP or fillers

for enhanced sensation or appearance

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is cosmetic gynaecology safe?

When performed by qualified specialists in a medical setting with proper assessment and sterile technique, cosmetic gynaecology- it is safe. Like any procedure, it carries risks—which we explain clearly before you decide.

Most patients seek improved comfort and confidence. Outcomes depend on your anatomy, chosen procedure, healing, and expectations. Our approach prioritises function and nerve safety, and we discuss realistic results upfront.

Downtime varies by treatment. Injectables and PRP may involve minimal downtime, while surgical procedures can require days to weeks of healing with activity restrictions. You’ll receive a detailed recovery plan tailored to your procedure.

The right option depends on your symptoms (comfort, dryness, pain), anatomy, and goals (appearance, tightening, confidence). A consultation helps clarify what will provide meaningful benefit—and what to avoid.
