Rakesh Jayakrishnan obtained his Bachelors of Physiotherapy at Mahatma Gandhi University in 2013. His worked in the government hospital Ernakulam, where he completed his special training in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
With a keen interest in orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries he went on to further his sports medicine knowledge and obtained his Diploma in football medicine(FIFA).
Mr. Rakesh has over six years of experience, working in Kerala (under Indian Red Cross Society) and Dubai.
He completed various workshops on topics ranging from the Brunnstrom approach in stroke, Hydrotherapy, Pelvic floor training and Neuro dynamic techniques. He is fully versed on the Ergon IASTM technique, kinesio taping and spinal manipulation.
He has a special interest on orthopedic, post-operative rehabilitation, geriatrics, neuro rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, and diabetic foot management. During his career Mr. Rakesh provided care for patients with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury and respiratory illness.
