He specializes in diabetes management, thyroid disorders, obesity & weight management, metabolic diseases, and hormonal conditions. Furthermore, Dr. Mehrdad provides evidence based care that focuses on improving long term health and quality of life.
Dr. Mehrdad completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He completed his Board Certification in Internal Medicine before pursuing Board Certification in Endocrinology and Metabolism. In addition, he also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Endocrinology at Claude Bernard University, Lyon, France. There he gained advanced expertise in endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mehrdad has held several leadership positions. These include Head of the Endocrinology & Diabetes Department and Director of the Diabetes Clinic. Additionally, he also serves as an Assistant Professor. He actively participates in medical education, research, and continuing medical education CME programs.
