Here’s what to expect during your crown or bridgework at HealthHub Clinics:
1. Consultation & Digital Scan/X-ray
We begin with a full dental exam to assess the condition of your teeth and gums. Digital X-rays or scans may be taken to ensure the supporting teeth and roots are healthy.
2. Tooth Preparation
The affected tooth (for a crown) or the supporting teeth (for a bridge) are gently reshaped to make space for the prosthetic. We then take a digital impression to create a precise, custom fit.
3. Temporary Crown or Bridge (if needed)
While your permanent restoration is being crafted at the lab, we place a temporary crown or bridge to protect the area.
4. Permanent Fitting & Cementing
Once ready (typically within 1–2 weeks), we ensure the crown or bridge fits perfectly in terms of bite, comfort, and appearance—then bond it in place.
5. Follow-Up & Care Guidance
You’ll receive clear instructions on caring for your new restoration and schedule a follow-up if necessary.
