Care Anywhere encompasses Telehealth and SmartDoc services, powered by HealthHub Clinics by Al-Futtaim.

The solutions combine digital and human interaction to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery and make medicine more personalized and precise.

The new Care Anywhere telehealth solution expands the traditional general practitioner model to include several specialists, and provide expert management of chronic disease, efficient delivery of medicine and ensure continuum of care virtually and in person, within the UAE.

Through SmartDoc, a nurse practitioner from HealthHub Clinics will deliver a multi-gadget device to the patients’ premises.

The device then connects the patient to a physician in real time for a full diagnosis by reading the patient’s vitals, listening to the patient’s heart and chest, studying the eyes and ears, and even conducting a 12-lead ECG.

The service is focused on increasing access by reaching the patient at home or work, while elevating the quality of care, through proven capabilities and expertise in the healthcare space.

FAQ’s about SmartDoc Service:

What is SmartDoc?

SmartDoc is part of a Telehealth integrated solutions package – it’s a device that uses a compact, easy to maneuver telehealth cart outfitted with a medical tablet. The tablet is cyber-secure and connected with WiFi and ethernet and is used to connect you to one of our doctors.

During a virtual exam, our physicians / specialists at HealthHub Clinics remotely control a PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) camera to video conference with their patients while simultaneously viewing real-time comprehensive medical data and conducting full physical examination (e.g., vital signs, auscultation, ECG, etc.) The SmartDoc device seamlessly transfers patient information and data to Electronic Medical Records and features a full range of assessment tools and diagnostic capabilities.

Who can go in for a SmartDoc?

Absolutely everyone in the UAE. From individuals to families to corporates. And of course – everyone with access to smartphones and laptops with WiFi.

Is the SmartDoc easy to use?

The SmartDoc is fairly easy to use, given its’ easy maneuverability, and its all-in-one integrated features that allow you to do a quick health check-up while connecting virtually through your teleconsultation with our doctor. When should somebody call for SmartDoc?

It’s always better to have a video consultation with any of our doctors first to confirm whether you need SmartDoc or not.  You should however feel free to request SmartDoc directly if you think that you’ll need to be examined thoroughly (i.e., if you want our doctor to remotely check your vital signs, examine your ear or throat, listen to your lungs, conduct ECG, etc.).

SmartDoc allows our highly qualified doctors to quickly examine symptoms, provide diagnoses, make recommendations on treatments, and provide guidance on required medications. Our doctors can treat any urgent but non-emergency condition, providing immediate instructions to help you feel better today. If necessary, our doctors can also refer you to another specialist for further treatments or tests.

How does the SmartDoc work?
