About COVID-19 Vaccine

COVID-19 Vaccine against COVID-19 in Dubai at Al Futtaim health:

Eligibility Criteria:

– UAE National 12 and above (& your respective house help)
– Dubai resident visa holder (aged 12 & above)
– A Senior (aged 60 & above) with a resident visa from any emirate but residing in Dubai
* age brackets between 12 to 18 years should be accompanied by the legal guardian


Step by step vaccination process:

• Please present your Emirates ID and the Al Hosn application on your mobile phone when you arrive at the Clinic. This is a required step to ensure that you have not previously participated in a vaccination drive.
• The front desk staff will ask you for your information and register you.
• The consent form will be given to you in two copies by our staff. One will be for you, and the other will be for the Clinic records
• Following that, a member of the clinical team will examine you and assess your medical history. This is an important step since the COVID- 19 vaccination is not appropriate for all people, and your health condition(s) may prohibit you from receiving it.
• Your vital indicators will be checked by our staff (blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
• Following that, the vaccination will be administered through intramuscular injection.
• You will proceed to the front desk, where our staff will schedule your second vaccine injection appointment.

Q. Who are eligible for taking the vaccine?
A. All UAE nationals and Dubai residents with a valid Emirates ID above the age of 12.

Q. Who are NOT eligible for taking the vaccine?
A. People with certain chronic diseases (based on evaluation of our expert medical team)
Volunteers who have participated in the vaccination clinical trials

Q. Will I have to pay for the vaccine?
A. No, the vaccination is given free of charge.

Q. How many doses will be given?
A. You will receive two doses of the vaccine. At an interval of 3-4 weeks.

Q. Is it possible to take the second dose of the vaccine in any other hospital?
A. No. Regulations direct that if you start receiving the vaccine service in one hospital/facility, it should be completed in the same hospital/facility.

Q. Will I have to do a mandatory PCR test before taking the vaccine?
A. No. A PCR test before the vaccination is not compulsory. Your medical history will be taken into account to ascertain if you are fit to receive the vaccine.
