  • Providing antenatal and postnatal care to obstetric patients, including low and high-risk cases as multiple pregnancies, gestational diabetes and pregnancy induced hypertension and obstetric cholestasis, and other conditions requiring combined clinics with their respective medical specialists.
  • Managing obstetrics emergencies such as APH, PPH, retained placenta, cord prolapse, and obstructed labour.
  • Performing normal and caesarean deliveries with pre-operative and post-operative care, and management of miscarriages, and molar pregnancies.
  • Management of various gynaecological disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Performing minor outpatient procedures like IUCD insertion and removal, endometrial biopsy, HSG, colposcopy and office hysteroscopy.
  • Assisting and performing major gynaecological and obstetrical surgical procedures as hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, and assisting in laparoscopy.
  • Performing posterior Bartholin abscess or cyst, vaginal repair, and labiaplasty
  • Counselling patients on proper birth control methods and prevention and screening of breast, uterine, ovarian, and cervical malignancies


Dr Walaa has completed her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is Egyptian Board certified in the field. She is a DHA licensed OBGYN specialist with an excellent track record in patient care and shares a passion for women’s healthcare and wellbeing.  Since 2007, her core areas of interest have covered adolescent gynaecology to postmenopausal medicine, including infertility, obstetrics and providing direct outpatient and inpatient care. A significant milestone as part of her MSc in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, was her thesis on “The Effect of Gum chewing on intestinal movement after caesarean section.”
