    Frequently Asked
    Questions

How many visits does it take(veneers)?
Porcelain veneers usually require two visits—one for preparation and impressions, and another for permanent placement. Composite veneers can often be done in a single visit.
    Are veneers permanent?
Veneers aren’t forever, but they’re durable. Porcelain veneers last 10–15 years, while composite ones last around 5–7 years. Good oral hygiene and avoiding hard foods help maximize their lifespan.
Can I eat after the extraction?
Yes, but stick to soft foods for the first few days (soups, smoothies, yogurt, etc.). Avoid hot, spicy, crunchy, or hard foods until the area has healed.
    Is tooth extraction painful?
No. The area is fully numbed with local anesthesia. You may feel slight pressure, but no pain. We also offer sedation for anxious patients.
    Are crowns and bridges noticeable?
No. We carefully match the color and shape to your surrounding teeth. Most modern crowns and bridges are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.
How long do dental crowns and bridges last?
With good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups, crowns and bridges can last 10–15 years or more. Avoid biting on very hard objects and maintain regular cleanings for maximum longevity.
Who is a good candidate for Zoom whitening?
Adults with healthy teeth and gums are typically great candidates. Our dentist will check for cavities, gum disease, or other issues before proceeding. Whitening is not recommended for children, teens under 16–18, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
How long will my teeth stay white after Zoom whitening?
Results from Zoom teeth whitening are long-lasting. Most patients enjoy their whiter smile for approximately 12 to 15 months on average. Some might see results last even longer (potentially up to two years) with excellent home care. However, the longevity of your whitening does depend on individual habits. To keep your teeth white as long as possible, maintain good oral hygiene (brushing twice daily and flossing) and routine dental cleanings. Limit foods and drinks that can stain your teeth – for example, frequent coffee, tea, red wine, or smoking will gradually dull the brightness of your smile.
